How to Make the Most of a Short Trip

Everyone loves to have a week or two to really enjoy their vacation, but life doesn’t always allow for full vacations. Maybe you’re lucky to be able to get away for a weekend. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t have a great experience. San Diego and La Jolla, in particular, has plenty to offer, no matter how long you plan to stay. Are you worried that you’ll miss out by only having a limited time for your trip? Here are our tips for making the most of your short trip:

Stick to a Carry-On

One of the perks of a short vacation is that there’s less to pack. You may be able to avoid paying for checked bags by packing only a carry on bag. Your carry-on can fit your clothes for a few days (even more clothes if you roll them rather than folding), and hygiene products, a change of shoes, and a book to read during downtime. You’ll also likely be allowed a personal item, such as a shoulder bag or laptop bag before you have to check anything. Read more here…
